M. Elizabeth Carnegie Scholarship
Applicant must be an African American registered nurse, member of a professional nursing organization, be enrolled in a doctoral program in nursing or a nursing-related field, be a U.S. citizen or must have officially declared desire to become one. Selection is based upon academic achievement and evidence of service to the profession. Applicant must submit GRE or MAT scores. Margaret Jones Memorial Nursing Fund
Applicants to these scholarships must be in an accredited BSN, MSN, or doctoral nursing program in Hawaii (undergraduate juniors or seniors or graduate students). Preference may be given to members of the Hawaii Nurses Association. To be eligible for Hawaii Community Foundation Scholarships, you must: be a resident of the state of Hawaii; demonstrate financial need; plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as either an undergraduate or graduate student; be a full-time student (12 credits undergraduate; 9 credits graduate); demonstrate academic achievement; and demonstrate good moral character. Established by Dr. Marvin Hayne Kendrick as a memorial to his mother, Margaret Parks Kendrick. Maria Dolores Hernandez Fund
The purpose of the Maria Dolores Hernandez Fund is to develop the full leadership potential of students in the nursing profession through a unique combination of formal education, mentorship, peer support, and exposure to professional activities. Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
The Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, encourages needy and deserving children of Marines and former Marines to begin or continue their college education in all fields, especially nursing. Awards range from $500 to $2500. Total family gross income cannot exceed $37,000.

Maryland Tuition Reduction for Nonresident Nursing Students
This program awards funding to residents of states other than Maryland who are accepted into Maryland degree-granting nursing programs (graduate or undergraduate) at four-year public institutions or community colleges. The amount of the award is equal to the difference between the cost of in-state and out-of-state tuition. The recipient must earn a minimum of 6 credits per semester. Awardees must agree to work as a nurse in the state of Maryland following graduation; two years of service are required if attending community college, four years if attending four-year public institution. Award is renewable.

Massachusetts Indian Association Scholarship Fund

Massachusetts Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents' Parley Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to students who plan to study nursing and are children of veterans. The scholarship is available to Massachusetts residents under the age of 22. Applicants must submit their transcript and a short written statement (50 words). Students are also encouraged to contact their local Auxiliary chapters for additional scholarships.

Michael D. Corley Memorial Scholarship
Established in 1992 by the AORN Exhibitors Advisory Committee to support an RN member of AORN pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree. RN Applicants shall be a member of AORN in good standing. Membership must be maintained continuously for 12 months prior to the June 30th application deadline and throughout the funding period. Membership is considered lapsed if full dues are not received at AORN Headquarters by the last day of the renewal month. A cumulative 3.0 GPA average is required and must be maintained for RN members. Student nurse applicants must submit proof of acceptance or enrollment in a NLNAC or CCNE program at an accredited institution. RN member nurses must be enrolled in an appropriate accredited institution for higher education. Applicant is responsible for submitting all materials, including application form, transcripts, resume or CV, personal statement and three letters of endorsement.
