Tami Bickett Hot Shot Memorial Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to full-time college students majoring in fire science, emergency medical service, nursing, or an allied health program.

Tennessee Scholarship Program
Open to residents of the general areas of Shelbyville or Union City, TN, who are US citizens and live in the vicinity of a Tyson Facility.

Terri J. Broach Nursing Scholarship
Established by friends and family members as a memorial to Terri J. Broach, a University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham student. Criteria: must be a resident of the State of Alabama, be admitted to or enrolled in study leading to the BSN degree at the University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham, and have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above. Preference will be given to those who have an active relationship with a church, synagogue, or other religious institution or order, and those who show financial need as defined by the UAB Financial Aid Office. The School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs announces application deadline and procedures.

Texas Legion Auxiliary Past President's Parley Scholarships
To provide financial assistance to the children of Texas veterans who wish to study a field related to medicine.
Duration: 1 year.
Deadline: March of each year.

Texas Outstanding Rural Scholar Recognition and Forgiveness Loan Program
This loan forgiveness program matches community funds with state funds to support a student of the community's choice in a health professional education program. Fifty per cent of the funding is contributed by the sponsoring rural community and the other fifty per cent is supplied by the Center for Rural Health Initiatives. For each year that a student receives a loan for this program, he/she must provide a year of health care in the sponsoring rural community. Applicants must be residents of Texas enrolled in a health-related program of study. Application deadlines are separate for fall, spring and summer terms. Textilease Medique New Investigator Research Grant
To provide funding to novice investigators interested in conducting research on occupational and environmental health nursing.

The Alan R. Klausfelder Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship is for students enrolled in Bachelor of arts programs in emergency medical services outside the US or Canada. Send SASE to school for application.

The Augie J. Alter Scholarship
Scholarships for students enrolled or accepted to an accredited college, university, or community college who are of Lithuanian descent and are residents of Illinois. Send application request to the provided address with a stamped, self-addressed envelope (SASE).

The Frances Tompkins Scholarship
Open to students currently enrolled in state-approved nursing schools-For undergraduate study or for first degree in a field of nursing. scholarships are based on academic achievement, financial need, and involvement in nursing student organizations.

The Great 100 Scholarship Program
To provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students in North Carolina who are interested in working on a degree in nursing.

The Kahler-Vickers/Raup-Emma Wettstein Scholarships
Assists women who are members of the ELCA studying for service in health professions associated with ELCA projects abroad that do not lead to church-certified professions. Must have experienced an interruption of two or more years since completion of high school.

The Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing for undergraduate study who are either members, eligible for membership, or related to a member of NSDAR, CAR or SR. Awards are made in May and November. For an application, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the address given.

The Patricia Smith Christensen Scholarship
Applicant must be a registered nurse with a current license. Must be enrolled in a Master's or doctoral program in nursing. Preference will be given to a Canadian resident if all other qualifications are equal. Preference will be given to Sigma Theta Tau International members if other qualifications are all equal.
Number Awarded: 1 every other year.
Duration: 1 year.

The Patricia Smith Christensen Scholarship 
To provide a scholarship to assist a graduate nursing student who is pursuing her/his nursing education in the area of maternal-child or pediatric nursing. The scholarship will be awarded once during each biennium to the student with the greatest demonstrated potential for advanced study and research.

The Reese Phifer, Jr. Nursing Scholarship
The Reese Phifer, Jr. Memorial Foundation is to support Alabama students pursuing degrees in nursing and to honor the late Reese Phifer Jr. The Reese Phifer, Jr. Memorial Foundation realizes that the role of nurses in the continuum of care from one stage of treatment to the next is becoming increasingly important as health care turns away from costly acute care institutions to home care and long term care. Therefore, this scholarship has been initiated to assist Alabama residents who are currently enrolled in, or have been admitted to, the baccalaureate, masters or doctoral degree-seeking program within the University of Alabama School of Nursing at UAB. The School of Nursing Office of Student Affairs announces application deadline and procedures.

Tylenol Scholarship Program
The makers of the TYLENOL Family of Products awards scholarships for higher education to students who demonstrate leadership in community and school activities. You may apply to this Scholarship Fund if you will be attending an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school. This includes those students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate course of study and have one or more years of school remaining.
